My name is Andrea Watson. I graduated LSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Since graduation, I have taught Kindergarten and preschool in the public school setting and was a private teacher for preschool child with special needs. At Southeastern I earned an additional certification in Early Interventionist: Birth-Kindergarten in special education. I have taught children birth to 6 years in various settings. As a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, I have taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
My name is Jordan Cozzi and I am the Center Administrator at Trinity Oaks Preschool. I attended Baton Rouge Community College after graduating from Baton Rouge Magnet High. I took many of my prerequisites at BRCC, including a child development class. I then transferred to Southeastern Louisiana University. I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in General Studies. I completed my Certification in Child Development through Penn Foster.
I worked as a manager in the foodservice industry for over five years. This experience taught me how to become organized, patient, and professional in a work setting. This helps me strive to ensure you, as parents, feel safe to leave your child/children with us at Trinity Oaks.
I have the experience and passion to help spread the love of children and God throughout our preschool. I am knowledgeable on food safety and sanitation. I am CPR and Pediatric First Aid Certified. I have experience both at Trinity Lutheran Child Development Center as an infant teacher in addition to my experience as an extension day counselor as St. Aloysius. Although I had worked with slightly older children in the past, when I worked in my first infant classroom, I instantly knew this is where my heart belonged. Educating children in their first few years of life is such an honor and I am blessed to have an opportunity to do so here at Trinity Oaks Preschool.
I am blessed to have an opportunity to work with a great group of educators and to partner with parents in their child development. I cannot wait to spread the love of God and His beautiful creations through our Trinity parents, children and our staff. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns at firstname.lastname@example.org.
